Lady Love grew up in the heart of Binghampton as an impoverished youth of a single parent home and 3 older male siblings.  Her family later moved to Raleigh where most of her training for ministry was birthed.  She pursued her degree at LeMoyne Owen College receiving a Bachelor of Business Administration.  She later went on to get an MBA from Belhaven College.  After serving over 15 years in corporate America God called her into the ministry of education.  She then pursued and received a Masters Degree in Education from Christian Brothers University in 2006.

Along her spiritual journey God called Lady Love to live a life of holiness and to start a singles ministry at her lifelong church.  Hundreds of singles were taught to live according to I Corinthians 7:32 “He that is unmarried careth for the things that belong to the Lord, how he may please the Lord.  By her modeling the example of Christ, singles were being transformed, celibacy was being practiced by the members, and God was being glorified.  This led to her being asked to speak at the National Baptist Convention and to singles ministries across the city.  She facilitated two plays dealing with issues singles face called “Living a Single Life” and “So, Who Wants to Be Single?”  One play was later performed in New York.  In 1999, God called Lady Love to the ministry of preaching.  Her first sermon “Whoa” which was preached on SuperBowl Sunday of 2000 has continued to rest on the hearts of the hearers.  She is an ordained minister of the gospel and has taught for years,15-week training classes for aspiring ministers desiring to be ordained as well as laymen who desire a closer relationship with almighty God

Because of her life experiences and overcoming power God has allowed her to speak to a congregation of thousands of men and women, youth groups, singles ministries, prisoners, parents and whoever would listen to her share the love of Christ.  Her preaching encompasses the fire of the call to repentance and the joys of redemption.  She has been married to Pastor Michael Love Jr. for over 9 years and they have 4 beautiful children whom they are proud of!
